Accessing your favorite stitches is easier than ever on the EPIC! Using this feature is simple to do once you know how, and this video shows you how to do it.
My Viking Sapphire is totally capable of saving and recalling favorite stitches, but it had a couple of drawbacks. First, it takes about 4 or 5 button presses to get to the point where you can recall the favorite stitch; and second, you had no clue what the stitch was until you selected it, because it just shows a generic stitch icon. You had to keep a separate list of what stitch was stored in which entry.
This completely changed when I got my EPIC! It has a beautiful, giant touch screen, and it allows you to name your stitch when you save it.
Once I learned how to do this, I wanted to share it with as many people as possible, just because it is so cool to be able to give a stitch a really meaningful name. Switching between favorite stitches is so streamlined now! Not only is the folder where the stitches are stored accessible with just one touch of the screen, if you’re switching between stitches a lot, you can actually leave the folder open and just press the next stitch you want to use.
I am a huge fan of this feature, and you can learn to do it yourself in the video below.
Just a note about the video; this was recorded during a Facebook Live session and you’re watching the replay. As a result of this being a live video, it’s got other information besides just the stitch saving. If you want to jump to the part where I’m just saving favorites, you can fast forward to about 9 minutes in.
